Refunds are NOT going to happen.  At this point if they gave one person a refund, probably more than half of all backers would want a refund.  That would mean instant bankruptcy for LH Labs, as there is no way that they have half a million or more that would be needed to cover the run on refunds.

Our only choice is to wait (and wait and wait…) for delivery.  Seriously, if Larry didn’t intend to deliver he would have shut LH Labs down a couple of years ago.  He is doing all that he can to deliver and for now that is all that we have.

And yes, at this point, even second quarter 2018 seems optimistic.  :-(

At least Larry has ceased offering projected delivery dates.  He seems to have learned that they truly have no idea when the current development step will complete, much less the next step.   Larry also appears to have learned that giving the backers an unrealistic date and missing it only infuriates them.  Even the most forgiving have long grown tired of this game, myself included.

While I would like to have a reasonable projected delivery date, we ALL now know that LH Labs is incapable of giving us one.  For now, I would just like to know the actual project status and be updated on this every week or two.

That seems strange, because new members have been showing up all along, the newest listed in the Geek Force Statistics on the page here.  Hard to say why he cannot sign up.

New updates on the Wave sound promising, but delivery before 2nd quarter 2018 seems unlikely.

Sadly, this is far too close to rthe truth to be funny.  Between all of the options options offered that changed all throughout the main campaign and the different set of options in the On Demand campaign, I would be surprised if anyone at LH Labs really understood all of the different configurations even after they have been reduced and simplified for production.

I believe that you have it down pretty well.  My thought on the assembly progress is that even if the antennae are the only things missing that LH Labs has done nothing more towards assembly other than removing the chassis from the shipping crates in which they were received.  That would be consistent with the way that they appear to have handled Pulse DAC assembly: don’t start the assembly process until we have everything.  If SE backers are lucky, I am wrong about this and all assembly is done, awaiting arrival of the antennae for final packing and shipping.

Now…  How many months after the SEs are shipped before the regular Source models start shipping?

Yes, very strange when he has this forum where he could post an image of any resolution with almost no cost to LH Labs.

LH Labs has not had a presence on their own forum for a while now.  Are they desperately trying to forget that it exists after they told us to go here to communicate and get answers to product questions.

LH Labs non-communication is probably the biggest thing working AGAINST them.  It’s a pity that they refuse to figure this out.  All activity on these crowdfunding projects should be presented to ALL backers, regardless of the specific configuration backed.  As I have said many times, frequent publication of even incremental progress would quell much of the discontent inspired by the extreme lack of evidence of progress that we have had for years now.

It’s been awfully quiet here and elsewhere.  There is one recent post in the indiegogo Source campaign  suggesting that they are about two weeks out from their first shipment.  This is from a post copying information from a private email (their current method of non-communication with the backers).  I wonder if there has been ANY similar communication with any of the Wave backers who will be the first to receive their product.

I hate to bash (really) but in communication, LH Labs has gone from bad to worse.  Larry seems to have no concept of the simple fact that frequent communication, even telling of the smallest progress, is the way to keep people happy.  I know that this would not appease everyone, but I suspect that the majority would be much happier with frequent but simple updates.  Anything to suggest progress would help to quiet the rabble.

More pitiful is that they told us to come to this forum for more information and updates, then a couple of weeks afterwards seem to have COMPLETELY ABANDONED their own forum.  Not exactly inspiring confidence or brand loyalty.  Oh well…

We are all on this rollercoaster until we receive or do not receive our products.  Thus are the hazards of crowdfunding.

Still awaiting any word on the progress of this and other projects.  Don’t hold your breath, it could be a very long time coming.

I still believe that Larry fully intends to deliver all products backed.  This may take a long time, as LH Labs appears to be operating on a shoestring budget.  This means that production batches will be small and I would not be surprised if they send at least half of production to the market from the very first batch.  This may be necessary to generate the funds to build the next batch.

In spite of my belief in their intent to deliver, my respect for LH Labs is in the toilet and I have no desire to ever give them any more money.

More evidence of stupidity?  When do you expect them to renew their domain registration, one week, one month, one year before it expires?  When would you renew your domain?  Much bigger companies have actually allowed their domain registration to expire and were saved by a good samaritan supporter (think Micro$oft).  Is this evidence of stupidity?

    Why the attitude?

Larry…  LARRY…  Are you there Larry?  @Larry Ho, is anyone listening?

How about an update on the Wave project.  It’s been a while now, there should be some new information that you can give us.  We are curious as to what year these will start shipping.

With the extreme lack of information in the rare updates that we do get, we have no idea where it is now.  The last I remember, they were almost (but not quite) done with testing, needed to do “one more” spin on the main board (hopefully fixing the last of the significant design errors) and needed to tweak the case to properly fit the display that they were planning on using.

Larry, where are we today?  Is is possible that these will start shipping this year or will the last 1% of the development process continue to crawl along at geological speeds, towards possible shipping some time late in 2018?  How about a realistic projection, not the pie-in-the-sky could happen as soon as xxx if everything goes exactly right and all outside sources deliver early.

Of course, nobody from LH Labs has even looked at the forum in months, so we are exceedingly unlikely to get any kind of response.  :-(

Well, we are at the end of “the first week of July +-5 days” first shipment time period.  I have not read any reports of shipping notices being received and am sure that at least one of the first half dozen to receive such notice will report it somewhere.  Given the ~4:1 Larry Ho to real world time ratio, the first Source SEs may go out somewhere between the end of July (right!!!) and end of August.  I am curious as to how well that time ratio will hold up.

This does not bode well for backers of the regular Sources.  At this rate, we would be doing well to get any out before December.  :-(

There are still 7 on Amazon, and the price is down to $1076.79.  I thought that they were down to 5 at some point over this past year, but I could be wrong there.  That’s just a little more than I paid for mine on indiegogo.

Either they are getting new stock, or the sales rate is really REALLY slow.  Considering the price, certainly the sales rate is slow, but I have a hard time believing that it is zero.  If it were that low I would think that Amazon would purge it from their warehouse.
