Can we get a better idea how this is going to look and function like, specs if you prefer and some real Harware screenshots. I understand it’s currently being designed but I am just wishing we can get a better idea of its form and functions.

    Hi Jon,

Once these become available for release, we’ll make sure to post this for you in an update.

    Hey Jon,

PTP is being designed into the “2.0 Chassis.” The tubes sit snugly inside the unit, making it look very similar to Pulse DAC.

First article chassis have been ordered. Once we have them, we’ll post some pics.

Thanks Gavin, I guess one advantage is the harmony between the DAC and the PTP being from the same family. Please do provide screenshots of the resulting unit and can you please provide us with the back panel to see what inputs/outputs will be provided for the different models, for example the SE version versus the balanced one. I know they’ve been discussions in other LH Labs websites but I find it worth repeating here. I don’t care if It sounds repetitive, it’s good for everyone.

Thanks again Gavin, can’t wait to see the pre-amp, pretty sure it’ll be a great pulse device in the whole lineup. Happy thanksgiving Gavin, hope your family enjoys everything this earth has to offer.

I like the proposal by Larry Ho & Team to change the power requirement of Pulse Tube Pre-Amp, and Pulse Tube HPA to AC & DC. 1 AC Power Cord, and 1 LPS connection. Nice Work LH & Team!

Another idea that pops up when we talk about additional straight AC Power separate from the LPS for the Tube gear
Is the use a power filter of some kind.

Is this needed/recommended or does Larry have other ideas maybe integrated or beter yet a separate design for a netfilter like the LPS.

You will need an aftermarket power cable. LH Labs like other Hi- End equipment manufactures, leaves the choice of power cable up to the owner. Power filters, and distributers is another bag of tricks!
