DST and WavPack container

I have recently learned that the WavPack container (.wv) can now store DST data (losslessly compressed DSD) so at last we have *taggable* DST. This would literally double the storage capacity for our DSD collections. As far as I know, only Foobar is currently compatible with this development.

I wonder if this may be adopted by Source, if not now then at least in a future firmware update? It is quite CPU-intensive to decode DST, but would be a nice feature. SACD players have been doing this for decades, so it seems a bit regressive that the Source cannot!
