When will the "geek out" units ship to those of us who backed the pulse/out combo during the pulse campaign?

My experience with lightharmonic has been a bit soured. They promised a january delivery but delay after delay; the geek out is still yet to be released and we are almost in march. I'm also not sure about what is happening to the geek pulse- there still has yet to be any word on the survey except promises that it is happening.

I sympathise with their problems with the bubbling USB sockets, but its still a bit unsettling how things have turned out. Sorry but would just like to vent a bit. Maybe when everything is in order the final result will be worth the agonising wait

There were more than 300 Geek Outs sold in the kickstarter campaign so those sold in the Pulse campaign would be on the tail end of the Geek Outs sold through kickstarter (shipping by the end of March)

It's good to rant! ;)

I'm expecting to get the Geek Out at the same time my Pulse arrives as I was in for the bundle. International shipping for the bundle was the same cost as for the Pulse so I assume that the two will be shipped together. It must be frustrating for backers to see these delays and to see a reduction in the forum participation of Larry Ho and Gavin. However, I look at it this way.

The Geek Out connector problem appears to have been beyond LH Lab's control and has been sorted to their satisfaction. I'm sure the Kickstarter backers of the Geek Out would prefer this delay rather than having received a sub standard product on time.

Both the Kickstarter and Indigogo campaigns were massively bigger than LH Labs could have possibly dreamt of, (more so with the Pulse) and would consequently had a huge logistical impact. This would surely add to the delay with extra staff being taken on and lots more interaction between LH Labs and the Geek Force than could have been predicted.

The development of the Pulse has gone way beyond the initial brief, again catering to the Forces' desires, and must have given Larry Ho a lot of headaches. Just the development of the case for the Pulse has been agonising to follow as LH Labs have bent over backwards to give us what we want.

I'm confident that these will be cutting edge products with a value far higher than the money we have put in. Like you, I'm eager to get my bundle as soon as possible but I'd be more than happy to get them by September or even October this year. I just hope that LH Labs don't feel so pressured to get these churned out that the opportunity to tweak the maximum performance out of them is missed.

I find it reassuring that Gavin and Larry have backed off the forums because, as Gavin has pointed out, they were spending an awful long time on there answering all sorts of questions. Time not spent on the forums can be better spent in the development and production of the products we so eagerly await.

Don't get me wrong, I still want my stuff TOMORROW!!!

Production! It's a terrible enemy of everyone... So we attach the enemy systematically and carefully.

Step by step, the production speed will get faster and faster...

Again, I'm sorry for delay the start shipping date for 4 weeks due to USB connector production issue.
It's a good lesson to learn.

Today, first batch Geek Out has been sent out. That includes Geek Out 1000 (Super Duper), Geek Out 720 and Geek Out 450.
Next week and after that, we will continue to deliver.

After KS campaign all ship out, everything will be even faster because we plan to double the production lines and we are moving to bigger space next Monday too...

I'm excited and hope when you get your Geek Out, you will love it too.

Cheers,

Larry
